President Gerry let us know we will be passing the hat 12/13 for donation to the Bow Welfare.
Dave Farr – Tree sales going very well. We have approximately 20 left to sell
President Gerry – Auction update , we received a $500 donation from from local resident
David Gazaway – Bell ringing will be on 12/20 10am -7pm at the Storrs St Market Basket.
President Gerry – The annual skit created by our very own Chris Parkinson will be on 12/13! Found a gross of Rotary pencils, we will be donating to early act so they can provide to the Elementary School
Adam - Interact Update – Club has been busy with several fund raisers. Making a donation to the Merrimack County Advisory Center.

Jon Ruggles – Happy his 20yr old grandson is on the mend after going in for just wisdom teeth and having 8 teeth extracted.
Eric Anderson – Selling trees with David Gazaway. Long dialog about messed up sign ups for tree sales duty, but happy Carol Niegisch was able to help him out.
Durwood Sargent – Attended the festival of trees in Lewiston ME. Was T-boned while waiting to turn at intersection, but no injuries.
Donna Deos – the scribe was not paying attention and missed the purpose of happiness

Program:
Steve DeStefano introduced our speaker for today – Father Rich Roberge from Christ The King Parish.
Father Rich was here to speak to us about the new Food pantry being built on the grounds at Christ The King Parish. For 50 years CTKP has had a food pantry serving the Concord region. Over the past 20 years they have been planning a new pantry with a vision of better access and ability to serve more people. The pantry runs with about 112 volunteers, there are no paid staff. New facility will enable the pantry to provide more of a grocery store style experience, allowing people to pick those items that they need. The project is a 2.4 million endeavor. They received a substantial single donation and all other funding has come from individuals and some groups like Concord Rotary. Currently a bit under 300k short of reaching the funding goal. The build project is in the excavation and foundation phase right now. Location will be approximately same as the old pantry. Still currently open at a temporary location provided by Bobby and David Segal in the lower area behind Sanel auto parts. Operation hours are Mon.,Tues,Thur from 6pm-9pm
Some of the providers of items are local merchants with a large helping hand from A.G. which sells to the pantry at wholesale pricing. Couple out comes when the new facility is complete, are the ability to serve more then one family at a time, the experience will be more dignified with a shopping style vs handed a box of food. There will be two offices that will be used for intake of information from the people the pantry serves. In the past 10 months the pantry has served nearly 6000 individuals from Concord and another 1000 people from surrounding towns.
