- Gerry Carrier – Car show is on. Rain is not due till 1:45pm. All hands on deck!
- Matt Dodge – Has 6 tickets to the NHHTC Entrepreneur Event to be held in Nashua on Wednesday, June 13th.
- Judy Goodnow – Has tickets to be auctioned for the Leonard Cohen…forget it. Skip says it was canceled.
- Steve DeStefano – Summer concerts start on July 12th.
- Jon Hanson – It might be too early to talk about Christmas trees, but we need trucks to delivah them from the nawth.

- Peter Imse – Last weekend was his mother’s 95th Birthday and all the mothers in his extended family were there to celebrate Mothers’ Day, too!
- Ken Moulton – He was just in Tucson, AZ enjoying 102 degrees of dry heat!
- Dave Gazaway – Everyone sang Happy Birthday to him because it was today. He is thankful for family (Dillon – 14 and Caleb – just turned 13), Wendy, who is a tremendous supporter. He is happy he can still do things he could do 30 years ago (“Not as well” from the peanut gallery). It was also a tough year but last week he realized how blessed he is when he attended the funeral for a 27 year old friend who died of a brain tumor.
- Mike Fortier – Said something very witty, but I cannot remember it to save my life!
- Ben Kiniry – Happy Tammy came to breakfast and paid a buck for his photo in the Bow Times. (I think he needs to run a tab on the photo phine!)
Raffle Winner: ROB WERNER GOT THE JOKER, TOO!!!! He didn’t reveal how much the jackpot was, however.

Gerry Carrier announced Norm Gentry
Norm served in the Nat’l Guard 20 years, in the IT industry, was a teacher, and now has his own firm, SPTI. He also is an active Lion and is a Melvin Jones Fellow in the Lions Club.
He talked about how he works with teenagers and parents to educate them about the dark side of the internet. Told stories about teenager preferences: Snap Chat over Facebook (only grandparents use that!). Instagram is fast becoming like Facebook because of the use by old people. Twitter and KIK (which is used by little Elementary School aged kids and pedophiles trying to kidnap them. Seriously, this was a very sobering presentation and it captured the attention of everyone there.
He described an app that looks like a calculator for your cell phone that actually hides photos, often pornographic ones that kids are passing around of themselves or their friends. Norm explained that anything that goes up on the internet is there to stay, often making getting a job near impossible. Pornography is by far the largest industry on the internet and teenagers do not understand that there are predators out there who are tracking down and trying to abuse young people who are foolishly posting revealing photos of themselves or their friends.
He gave many harrowing examples of kids who suffered consequences for posting illicit photos on the internet. One family had to sell their home in Florida because their daughter’s beach photo attracted a stalker from Australia! Another girl took 5 years to get a job teaching because of past misjudgments. He also talked about identity theft to a class at Plymouth State University and put a scare in them when he passed out “dossiers” he had collected on them for free on the internet.
He certainly frightened the members of the club straight!!!! It was an excellent presentation and many questions were asked at the conclusion.
