Chris Parkinson thanked every who contributed to Amigos for his Christmas music.  The medical team needs some financial help with airfare costs etc.  Any donations would be appreciated.

David Gazaway sent the Annual Bev Page Bell Ringing signup sheet around and stated there was only one open slot and a couple of instances where people were working alone.  Date is next Friday the 22nd from 10am to 8pm.  He will send the signup out by email.

David also suggested that since this was our last meeting before Christmas, we should pass the hat for Bow Welfare.  And so it was done and we collected $460.

Dick Bean reported that the Town Maps will be completed by this coming Friday.  There have been some issues with the image files.

President Judy also called Sandy into the room and presented her with a card.  Thank You and Merry Christmas Sandy!!

 

Sargent Ben started off with his own happy/late buck for thinking  this was Thursday and not Friday.  Thanked his phone for reminding him 15 min before the meeting.

Tamar Roberts had $3 reasons to be happy, both boys made it home, she ran a half marathon and a 2 mile race all in the same day. She also announced that she sold the most trees by selling 72.22% of the remaining trees and 100% of the remaining wreaths on Saturday.

Bill McGonagle was happy that David Gazaway finally remembered to sign in without being reminded.  However, he still fell short in that he didn't bother to put on a pin or his badge.

Chuck Rheinhardt had an extra $1 so he was just plain happy.

Rick Minard, who escaped a color photo fine because no one brought a copy of the Concord Monitor in, was happy the concert went well and was well attended.

Paul Rizzi was happy NH Mutual Bank Corp has expanded to now include the Savings Bank of Walpole NH.

Ken Moulton was happy his son and grandson had been home for a visit but sad of the passing of Mary Louise Hancock.

Jeannie Gerulskis had to pay a missing badge fine.

Dean Cascadden was happy a college had purchased a tree from Bow Rotary but had said the two older men he bought it from trashed Dean to a degree.  It was pretty much determined the two older men were David Gazaway and Chris Nicolopoulos. 

Noreen Christensen was happy she had a very nice trip to South America and is excited the whole family will be home for Christmas then they will be headed back to FL for the Wintah.

Alan Kanegsberg had $5 because he was sorry he wasn't home to help sell trees but he was happy they are leaving for Reno.

President Judy was happy Paul Rizzi was with us today.

Jerry Kingwill was happy his son has bought a house and moved to Bow.  However, he was disappointed his birthday this week was overlooked.

Peter Imse was happy because for years, a group in his office get together to practice and play music for the office.  They decided that they should play for others as well so they are performing at some local nursing homes.

 

Matt Gatzke introduced Michele Cota from NH Div. of Travel & Tourism Development who came to talk to us about what the state is doing to promote and advertise tourism both in state and out of state.

Michele told us that ads outside of NH target the $75K to $100K households as well as families with children and the retired.

She showed us a couple of videos that are used.  She said they also have hard data that for every $1 we spend in media, we get $10 back in Rooms & Meals revenue.  They also use this type of media to attract new businesses and industries to our state for the quality of living we have here.
