President Gerry opened the meeting at 07:30 and greeter Durwood shared some inspiration. 
 

Visiting Rotarian’s: We were joined by two members of the Hooksett club this morning, thank you for joining us Jeff and Maryann.

Birthdays: 

Michelle Olivier was not present at the meeting.  Happy Birthday Michelle!

Melissa Howard had a birthday and shared her time in Italy, loves being part of the Bow community and loves starting her day of Fridays with Rotary.

 

Fines:  Joya, Tamar and Barb all paid fines

 

Happy Bucks:   Steve DeStefano shared that his wife retired today from nursing after 45 years!  Wow, thank you for the many years of caring Ellen DeStefano!

Durwood Sargent shared how the concerts show how we live together

Program:  Club Assembly

Treasurer Tamar gave a very detailed status of the financials.  Please see her for any specifics.  Also, it is very important that IF you come to the meeting with money, it should go right to Tamar, you should only bring money to Bill if it is something that was invoiced to you.  Thank you

Bill - Secretaries report, June had 87.37% attendance.  2K has been added to the budget for new membership program.

Carol Niegisch discussed the annual auction: it will be another silent auction, Nov 6-9^th.  First committee meeting is this coming Monday.

Rob Werner - Starting process for ordering Christmas trees.  We have to place an order well in advance.  Order needs to be made in July.

We need to expand our publicity, Bow times, articles and the District newsletter

We discussed Sign at Rotary Park to include acknowledging the Bow Garden Club

We discussed ideas for a process for helping Bill out with attendance to allow him to socialize a bit.

Chris Parkinson was recognized for being so instrumental in the Turkish Ambulance Project.

Next Meeting: Karen Wadsworth will be the greeter and Ben Kiniry has the program.

 

President Gerry closed the meeting with a toast to Rotary the world over.
