The next Board meeting will be held on Monday February 16th @ 6:30pm.
Assistant Governor Robbie Grady cleaned off her desk only to find Dick Swett’s award for attending PETS last year! Also pleased to announced Matt Gatzke will be replacing her in June as an Assistant Area Governor.
4 Way Speech contest is March 31st 6:30pm at the Town Library. Currently no sign-ups yet but expecting some soon.
Scholarship applications have been revised and will go online soon. Deadline is April 10th.
Next week the greeter will be Eric Anderson and the program will be Club Assembly.

He was cleaning out a few boxes and came across old pictures of the Club’s Winterfest event. Winterfest was held every February at the Community Building for many years. It had skating, skiing and sliding events, a cookout ending with a big bonfire. The event ended in 2016 after warmer winters where the pond was not safe to be on and no snow for the sledding hill.
The second half of Gerry’s presentation was the always entertaining “What I’ve found in homes. A career in Home Inspections.” Everything from bad plumbing, electrical, structural issues and just plain head scratchers were present to see. The moral of the story: There is a fine line between Yankee ingenuity and sheer stupidity so if you’re planning to buy a house, get it inspected!
President Dick closed the meeting with a toast to Rotary the world over.
