Chris P played his guitar and sang Christmas carols before the meeting began, while we were greeted by Mark L.
President Mike rang the bell, and Mark provided some words of wisdom.
After breakfast, Mark reported that 45 Bow Rotarians were in attendance, with no guests or visiting Rotarians.
Announcements:
We passed the hat for the Bow Welfare Department for the first time. Second time to be at our meeting on the 18th.
Nate Sanel’s prospective membership was announced for the second time

Bryant updated regarding the successful sale of Xmas trees.
Donna mentioned the doll house raffle on December 19th at the Baker Free Library.
Dave G announce Salvation Army bell ringing on December 17th.
Judy Goodnow reported that the auction had generated $22,000 for scholarships plus $3,000 for the Baker Free Library Renovation.
Chuck mentioned that Winterfest will be Sunday, January 31st.

Birthdays:Noreen had a good year and essentially told us “love ya, bye” when she announced her winter in Florida and the Bahamas.
Andrew reported on a great year, but with big changes.
Happy Bucks:
Alan K – two happy bucks for a visit to Florida.
Matt - $3 in memory of his injured foot which interfered with this Xmas tree sales duties and a trip to NYC.
Jean G – for a nice thanksgiving with a $64 turkey and son Jackie.
Peter – visit by Interact at Havenwood.
Chris - $1 thanks to Jerry C and $1 for World Service Day.
Ken – for visit to Arizona last week.
Mark – for visit to Florida last week.
Dave G – for spending time with family watching sons play basketball at Nashua Sports Arena.
Tamar - $1 for meeting 2d cousin in Loudon for the first time (it is hard to get to…) and $1 for Xmas tree sales.

Club Assembly:
After dismissing the scooters, President Mike conducted Club Assembly.
Rick reported on membership, and Mike reported on the Board’s suggestion of a past-president breakfast meeting.
Eric provided the Secretary’s Report which was good news….attendance at 96%.
Paul reported that the Club had about $11,000 and the Foundation had about $57,000, but with most of the Club Foundation funds being restricted by donation obligations.
Peter Imse explained the importance of supporting the Rotary Foundation and its goals. He also explained “Every Rotarian, Every Year” and the Paul Harris Fellow awards.
Chris announced that Amigos was looking for donations of toothbrushes, children’s aspirin, etc. in connection with the upcoming trip to Honduras.
President Mike closed “with a toast to Rotary the world over….”
