Club Admin and International: Bill Ames said that there was nothing to report – will address breakfast at end of meeting. He asked Ben Kiniry to report on global grant for Child Voice. Ben got wind of another grant that was being applied for with the same mission. They were told to modify their application to address the “enviroment” as the basis if the application. As a result, Ben has been modifying his application to follow the same context.
Club Service and Vocational: Michelle Olivier did a write in that there was nothing to report. Matt Gatzke did however thank Ben Kiniry, Gerry Carrier and Matt Dodge for offering their services to make sure the zoom system was kept up and running in his absence .
New Generations: Dick Swett said “No School-No Report”
Community Services: Bryant Stevener reported that we are planning on an online auction again this year, concert series is going good, Bob Couch is planning on ordering the X-mass trees, and the car show is in May next year.
Breakfast arrangements: Bill Ames presented a Power Point presentation regarding the background and the options going forward regarding the catering/food arrangements for the breakfast in the mornings. Bill laid out all the details and came down to 2 options. Option A included 2 meetings a month with services provided by Evelyn and the other meetings with the way we are doing it now , Option B’s details explained what we are currently doing for all the meetings of the month. The price difference was negligible. there were some comments made by the membership in favor of both options. A vote was taken, and the overwhelming vote was in favour of Option A. This will be executed for a quarter, where both the club and Evelyn will evaluate before continuing in this way for the rest of the year.
Respectfully Submitted,
Jerry Kingwill
