President Ben attended awards night at the high school and watched scholarships including Rotary scholarships being awarded.
Mike Griffin reported of 19 applications 12 scholarships were awarded totaling $26,000. He thanked members of the Scholarship Committee; Tamar Roberts, Dick Bean and Mike Gula for their hard work.
President Ben led a discussion on breakfasts and said a survey had been sent out.
Gerry Carrier wanted to know if there was interest in bringing back the weekly raffle we used to have. A show of hands expressed interest.
Ken Moulton said our Rotary District raised $150,000 for Ukraine relief. Governor Lynch is working on a fundraiser with contributions being matched by a generous donor.
Peter Imse reported on the summer concerts and said the first one starts on July 10.
President Ben reported there will be no meeting on July 1, and the “Changing of the Gavel” ceremony will take place as scheduled on July 8.

Dean Cascadden will be performing at the Gazebo to fulfill a Rotary auction obligation.
Chris Parkinson’s kids scheduled a 70th birthday party for him, and he is off to Switzerland and Italy on Monday and will miss it.
Michelle Olivier is enjoying Block Island and also gave happy bucks for her daughters’ graduation and birthday.
Mike Fortier was happy about his new RV’s dry run to Cold Springs.
Jeannie Richards wished Tamar Roberts luck with her surgery this coming Wednesday, and also thanked the chairs and co-chairs of the interact club for their work this year.
Ken Moulton was celebrating his 51st wedding anniversary, and he is heading to Canada for a senior’s tennis tournament on Friday.
Donna Deos is happy her daughter is moving back in July.
Mike Griffin wished the Celtics luck, and he attended game 6 against the Heat.
Tanya Frost’s 9 year old son played his final game of the season, and she was promoted to development manager for the Boys and Girls Club.
Karen Wadsworth enjoyed watching other people’s children grow up because hers were so far away and particularly remembered Dillon Gazaway who is graduating in a few days.
