- President Judy cautioned members regarding an email scam apparently being sent via ClubRunner. Bottom line – never respond to emails requesting money or personal information! And if you feel the need to investigate further – never ever click that “convenient” website link embedded in the email. Rather, visit the (supposed) sending website from a separate computer/device using the URL that you know – not the one sent in the email. On a separate note – some Liberian nationals apparently have a bunch of money to donate. All we have to do is just send a small processing fee………
- Dave Gazaway announced that the Salvation Army bell ringing will take place soon at the downtown Concord Market Basket (in memory of past member Bev Page). Times coming soon…
- President Judy would like everyone to take an inventory of their Rotary-specific “stuff” (not to include things you just want to get rid of….). We need an accurate list so as to calculate storage size. Please send to President Judy or indicate as such at next week’s meeting.
- Dick Swett (one of our Interact reps) mentioned that Interact members were responsible for baking pies for distribution on Thanksgiving, as well as a recent roadside pickup. The current drive is for coats and (clean/unused) socks. Please consider bringing in these items on the next Friday meeting.

- Dave Gazaway: Sold Christmas trees with Chris Nicolopoulos.
- Gale Kenison: Thanks to all those that ran in the annual Turkey Trot, and she enjoyed selling Christmas trees with Donna Deos
- Steve DeStefano: His wife had a series of mishaps, which at first glance should not constitute a ‘happy’ buck – but the intent was more that she is now doing okay.
- President Judy: Happy to have sold Christmas trees with Steve Lauers, and she has learned that she will have a new baby granddaughter on the way.
- Chris Parkinson: Happy to have sold Christmas trees (I’m seeing a pattern) with Bill McGonagle
Raffle: Bryant Stevener had the winning ticket, but did not pull the joker. Program: Eric Anderson announced today’s speaker from the Concord Regional VNA The VNA supports residents in Concord and 41 surrounding towns. During this time of year they like to highlight their “Hospice Lights of Life”. The VNA supplies white lights to display in windows to bring awareness to those that have passed. This year they have approx. 200 businesses displaying some 1600 candle lights in windows.
