Rick Minard – 4 Way Speaker, Alison Lambert, is going on to the next round
Warren Perry (Bow Mens Club) – “Flags Across Bow” program asking all Bow residents to fly the flag on 5 holidays. Applications will be sent to Bryant, who has already distributed them to club members. The application is also available on the Bow Men’s Club web site: www.bowmensclub.org. All money stays in Bow, including the charter organization for the Bow Scouts to help fund Eagle Scout projects.
Mike Griffin – Delayed announcement – Roadside pickup was a great success. Thanks to all who participated. 87 bags were filled. Special thanks to Helaine Kanegsberg for helping out, too.

Dick Swett – Late birthday celebration, I’ll spare the details except to say the army is healthy, grandbaby #6 due by end of May, all are employed who should be employed, the baby is graduating next week, and I love my wife!
Bob Dawkins – Had a great year although his mother-in-law passed last week.
Noreen Christiansen – Happy to have her friend Ruth Coneys with her today.
Mike Griffin – Happy to go to Aruba with his wife. Can’t you see the tan?
Chris Parkerson – Happy about the great sports season with the Red Sox contending with the Yankees, and the Celtics in the playoffs. He also told a very bad joke, not worth repeating.
Bob Couch - Happy about the great job Bill McGonagle did at the press conference on repealing the death penalty
Bryant Stevener – Happy to report Mark Lavalle and Roberta took kids and grandkids to Disney World. His house had to go into the hospital? (Sorry about the notetaking on this one!)
Dave Stack – Happy to report the bricks are in at the Safety Center and round 2 is ready to subscribe to if you want to have more bricks with your name on them installed.
Dick Bean – Happy to report he had successful surgery at Dartmouth Hitchock Hospital, all in ½ day. He was impressed with everything. Also complimented Bill M. on his press conference, too.
Tamar Roberts – Happy to report she picked up her son in Toronto 2 weeks ago.
Rick Minard – Happy to report that Pauline Laliberty said, “You folks change lives.” At the 4 way speech contest.
Karen Wadsworth – Compliments to Bill M. and was impressed with his jacket and tie! And, of course, congrats to all moms for Mothers’ Day.
Dave Gazaway – He promised not to talk about the car show but rather about the amazing place where he lives for hunters (“Blam, blam,” said Bob Louts) and for wildlife enthusiasts, too, as he saw a bald eagle fly over his house the other day.
Bill McGonagle – Happy to report a wood turners’ symposium is this weekend. Also, Karen didn’t mention she said he didn’t have on a Rotary Pin.
Jeannie Richards – Had her granddaughter with her for several days full of happiness.
Dean Cascaden – Shared a “Fat Fish Foto” and proclaimed the fishing season had begun!

Program: Club Assembly
The board reconsidered the vote to give the Capitol Center for the Arts the check because it was over the $2,500 amount.
Treasurer’s Report – “We’ve got money!”
Bryant Stevener – Camperships could be a way to spend the money this summer. Look at non-traditional camp opportunities.
Jeannie Richards – Can funds be used for transportation?
Mike Griffin – Scholarships for non-traditional schools should be considered and we need to let students who are already in college know that they can apply for scholarships as well.
Karen Wadsworth – Needed 2 more readers for June 8th, and got them before the end of the meeting.
Jerry and Dave – Need tents and folding chairs for the car show/ getting spots on the radio/ and Granite Power came in as a Platinum Sponsor (WhooHoo!) They have raised $10k before the show has even started, with a record 61 cars preregistered. Tee shirts are available on Monday @ $12 each.
Dean Cascaden – Rotary Recognition Day is June 7th at the Baker Free Library starting at 5:30pm. It will be a “dry” meeting.
Bill McGonagle – Attendance is up to 87.4%. Keep up the good work!
