Sergeant at Arms: Barbara Griffin
Birthdays:
Peter Imse celebrated his 75th while on a cruise visiting Rome.  The year has been good, full of activities and grandkids. Working just as hard but not getting paid for it!
Tamar Roberts had a great year, including a wonderful trip to Australia with her son.
Fines:
Pres. Tanya for needing to scoot for a work event.

Happy Bucks:
Dick Swett for time with Chase on Roadside Pick-up, finding a dollar, and Fall foliage trip.
Chase Hagaman for sharing Rotary with his son, and for seeing all his kids after being away for 4 days.
Bob Couch will be back in Bow on 10/21 for a few days so I look forward to seeing everyone on the 23rd.
Eric Anderson for 53rd anniversary and recent road trip.  Also, sad buck for his new computer.
Barb Griffin for her dad’s adjustment to assisted living and a precious video call from grandson.
Mike Griffin for great hiking trip with son and for 34th Anniversary.
Bill Ames for something that I did not get
Ken Moulton for induction of Frank Sulloway and Harvey Smith into NH Tennis Hall of Fame
Dick Bean for Salvation Army volunteers.

Program:
Members Melissa Howard and Mike Griffin talked to the Club about the work of the Granite VNA. Granite VNA serves 72 towns in central and eastern NH, serving thousands each year.  Their programs include:  Hospice care both in-home and at the Hospice House at Concord Hospital, Home Care Services to those in need of in-home assistance, Community Health programs to help us all stay well and age well, and Pediatric nurse visits to all newborns shortly after discharge from hospitals. Member Bill Ames also shared stories of his work with veterans through the organization.  Granite VNA is now in the middle of its Legacy and Promise Capital Campaign to renovate the Hospice House and create an endowment fund to help pay for the difference between the cost of hospice services and what they receive from insurance.  They ended their presentation with a video that brought tears to everyone’s eyes.

Since Pres. Tanya had to scoot, Gerry Carrier presented the book to Melissa and Dick Swett rang the bell to close the meeting with a toast to Rotary the world over.

Respectfully Submitted,
Peter Imse
