PresidentGerry - Cornhole: Board approved moving forward with purchasing 2 sets of cornhole competition boards designed for Bow Rotary. Invited to cornhole competition in May with 2 Concord clubs and Hopkinton. Each club contributes $250 – winner gets to donate to charity of choice. Suggested dates 5/22 or 5/29 – Bow is suggesting 5/29. If we are interesting in furthering this after this event, Bedford has tournaments.

Matt Gatzke - Rotary Store: few more items added to the store; As soon as Bob is back he will add link to the website; from now until the end of May you can select that you will pick up the items and Matt can pick those up; $20 credit for each member

Birthdays:
Mike Griffin: snowed on his birthday and he had dinner with his wife. This year – he and his wife have been married 32 years; granddaughter is 1.5 years and daughter is expecting again. Son and fiancé are getting married in June. Will be taking a vacation to Green Turtle Kay in the Bahamas next week.
Eric Anderson: this year is 39th year as a member of this club and in 39 years has never missed a meeting; on to his 51styear of being married to his wife; theme for last year with camper was rainy – this year looking forward to sunshine!

Mike Gula – thank you to Bryant for his adjustment so he could get back on treadmill; love looking at dining room table that his wife sets up for Easter – excited to have family over to celebrate; scholarship committee – glad to have a strong team, thankful for the team, meeting to review 17 applications over pizza and soda
Durwood Saturday – will be a great grandfather; not sure about these new ultrasounds
Donna Deos – spent 4 days in NYC with 13 exchange students had a great trip; tomorrow will be at the youth conference introducing the youth exchange program; today going with Matt Gatzke and Chris Parkinson looking at Mt Snow for potential district conference; Amy Makis (speaker) is married to her nephew

Barb Griffin introduced staff from Peabody Place located in Franklin, NH – independent and assisted living with memory care. Lynda Goldwaite, Karolyn McCauley, Amy Makis all have extensive experience in healthcare.
Peabody Place – used to be Peabody Home; 86 year history providing care to elders; private not for profit 501 c3, overseen by board of directors; 2018-2019 leadership at the time decided to reenvision the structure to take care of new residents in the 21st century. Brand new building built in 2 phases; 15 memory care suites; traditional assisted living 45 apartments; 16 independent living apartments

Benefits – health benefits for seniors (physical health & wellbeing, mental stimulation, social interaction, emotional wellness)
