Announcements:
Bob Couch – Trees arrive next Friday. 26 shifts are still open, please sign up and help out! We will have three people on the first few shifts as those tend to be very busy. Plan on 9am unload on Friday unless you hear otherwise.
Ben Kiniry – With help from Mike Gula, auctioned off our last item (a jacket from Britches), which sold for $113. Thank you!
Gerry Carrier – Pavilion: Contractor called him back, metal roofs are very expensive right now. Asphalt shingles are going on a nearby structure so we might go that route to match.
Dick Swett – Interact: Selling wreaths at the craft fair, $20 each and Dick was accepting orders from Rotarians. Expects they will be gone very quickly.
Sergeant at Arms: Bryant Stevener
Birthdays:
Aron LaBrie - Took a weekend away at a cabin, and has yet to see a moose, but hoping to see one soon.
Fines:
President Michelle offered five dollars for mixing up the order or events in the meeting
Ben Kiniry was late
Jon Ruggles didn’t have his badge on
Happy Bucks:
Matt Dodge – Happy that ski season is around the corner
Kim Place – Thank you to Jon Ruggles for helping out this morning
Mike Gula – First planning board meeting with son as a scout, glad to see some friends and glad for his son to see how local government can help as a custodian as the outdoors. Also got to take care of a half-dead possum and nursed it back to life.
Linda Bliss – Happy to see Carol Niegisch back!
Jon Ruggles – Turned 78 years old recently while in Texas. Can’t believe how quickly the year went by! Granddaughter Jackie is now 19 and suffered from a pretty serious concussion recently.
Mike Fortier – Saw the red-hot Bruins at TD Garden
Chris Parkinson – Looking forward to going to UNH Hockey, although he’ll be attending with a slow-moving group
Bryant Stevener – “Sad” buck for how bad UNH Hockey was when he went to a game recently
David Gazaway – 10 for remembrance for the one-year anniversary of Chuck Reinhardt’s passing.
Program: Club Assembly
Gerry Carrier – 47 current members, 40 of which are active. 86.6% attendance for the month of October. Everyone has paid dues and breakfast fees.
Paul Mercier, Treasurer – Not in attendance
Bill Ames – Great job everyone on speakers, scribes, etc. The re-write of constitution and by-laws has been making good progress, will have an update soon and present in December’s meeting for possible approval by the members in January meeting.
Chris Parkinson – 20 people ready to go to Honduras, still looking for dentists but thinks he might have a couple that will be joining. Will accept donations of big, light suitcases to help bring supplies down. Can bring 28 people total.
Ben Kiniry – Global Grant has been submitted, waiting to hear back if it will pass or if we need to make adjustments.
Michelle Olivier – No report given
Dick Swett – Interact report given earlier in the meeting
Peter Imse – Early Act has already sold all of their wreaths!
Chris Parkinson – Annual Skit is Dec 2nd – Harry Potter-themed skit, make sure you’re there!
Respectfully Submitted,
Matt Dodge
