Gerry Carrier announced that Breakfast Dues will be going out to the membership.
Matt Gatzke mentioned that former member Isabel Sinclair’s Celebration of Life is to take place on August 11th
Committee reports:
Matt Dodge had 2 auction items- 1) said that he had sent out a list with 290 business for the membership to review. He asked that feedback is provided for company’s names to be added, and or removed if they are no longer good candidates to support the auction. 2) Have 2 returning major sponsors for the Auction – Roberts and Green (a big thank you to Tamar) and Merrimack County Savings Bank.
Eric Anderson reported that the concert was a success -Thanked Aron Labrie, Dave Gazaway, Harry Judd and Mike Gula for bringing water for the extreme weather. Had 12 folks come and hear the music. Next weekend there will be a ice cream truck and a hot dog stand. Freese Brothers will be playing.
Gerry Carrier announced that the Town has moved the position of the pavilion. In about 10 days, they will be looking to place concrete.
Michelle Fortin thanked Gerry Carrier for all he is doing for the Pavilion.
Michelle Fortin had an award to present. She presented Chris Parkinson the award provided by the Blue Bird 9353 Rotary Club from Tygerberg Club in Cape Town, South Africa. This was for the medical equipment that our chapter provided funding for.

Tamar Roberts -$31 -$1 for Mike Gula for covering for Tamar, $30 for 30 years being married.
Matt Dodge – Thanked Aron Labrie for swapping Greeter duties, and a PSA regarding the Gunstock Ski Resort – he was concerned and interested in what was happening there.
Matt Gatzke – 1) was his 1st time being a Zoomer, and thanked Ben Kiniry for setting up the equipment, 2) his brother was in hospital, they were given more positive feed back than what they were originally were told, 3) only took 4 ½ hours road trip to see his brother, compared to the 6 hours in the past.
Peter Imse – Thanked the Concert crew who adapted to the situation well.
Brian Stevener – $10 1) Plays in Golf League with Mike Gula, was able to have a drink after with Mike, 2) a long story about how he and his brother used to place car in neutral at top of Woodhill and coasting down in neutral, without putting foot on brake, would see how far they could freewheel towards Concord. They were able to reach Ordway’s Market.
Mike Fortier - He has a new member in the family - His daughter had a baby boy- Beckett Scott – 8lbs 21”
Linda Bliss -spent a week in Northern Maine, attended a blue Grass Festival
Mike Griffin – Andrew – his son and Mike are chipping away at 100 highest peaks in New England. Did Elephant Mountain, in Andover Maine
Dick Swett - $2 - Late buck to help “set-up” crew, 2) 14th grandchild – his daughter had a stroke giving birth, she is ok now- grateful that no damage from stroke
Ben Kiniry – His wife has not been same since their son left for bootcamp. They got a card this week and she is more like her normal self.
Dean Cascadden- 11 months left to retirement – also happy about this group who share real stuff
Program: Classification Talks
Linda Bliss – she is one of 5 Children – grew up in a blue-collar household. She was the 1st to graduate from college in the Family – at Nursing school. She got married, had 2 children – got her master’s degree in health education. She then remarried to Jay, her husband, and they lived in Norwich Vt. He worked at Dartmouth. When he retired, they then took 8 months to travel across the country in a 5th wheel. They moved back to Canterbury; she went back to work for the state as the Immunization Director. She is currently retired, has 2 sons, one in North Carolina, other one lives in Canterbury – she as 4 grandchildren. Has been married for 30 years. She loves the beach, gardening, hiking and loves to dance. She was part of a Rotary GSE team to the West Indies. Linda enjoys to give back as she received a Rotary Scholarship when she was at nursing school. She originally joined the Concord Rotary Club, before she transferred to Bow.
