Today’s Greeter: Gerry Carrier welcomed members to Bow Rotary and offered some words of wisdom for club members

Announcements:
  • There will be a “District 7870 Disco Gala” via Zoom on June 6 to raise money for the district clubs. Watch your email for more information
Sergeant at Arms: Matt Dodge
 
Birthdays: Dave Gazaway recently celebrated a birthday. Despite some “life complexities”, Dave is doing well and grateful for the many blessings in his life.  
 
Happy Bucks:    
  • Michelle Fortin gave a happy $5 in recognition of her son Colby’s recent (virtual) graduation from Trinity College.
  • Rob Warner also gave a happy $5 as he and his wife had an enjoyable, relaxing time visiting/driving along the NH coastline.
  • Mike Griffin was happy for his Godson and the recent improvised college graduation from Bentley - celebrated at a lake house.
  • Chris Parkinson was happy that the weather has been beautiful as of late and that he continues to have family close by.
  • Linda Bliss mentioned that the Concord Common Man has partnered with NH Rotary Club of Concord to hand out face masks today and tomorrow from 10 – 2pm at the Common Man restaurant.
  • Harry Judd offered a happy $10 in recognition of his daughter’s successful completion of her Master’s degree.
  • Dave Scanlan was happy to just be able to join the online meeting today
Program:   Club Assembly
 
Today was club assembly. Reports were given from all avenues of service from the club. Of note:
  • There has been a reduction of dues from the district. This will be reflected in the next invoice billing – scheduled soon. Please keep in mind that dues from all members are due prior to June 30
  • The annual Car Show has been postponed to Saturday, August 22nd. More details to follow in the coming weeks.
  • The Summer Concert Series is currently on hold as the Board considers next steps.

Sarah Castelot - Caring Companions at Easter Seals.
They offer non medical, in home care for individuals, elderly,
or with chronic or mental illness. They work very closely with folks with Alzheimer's and
are all Certified Dementia Practitioners.

Talk about the Center as Bow is one of the towns in their catchment area.
