Minutes - Meeting of Friday, January 22, 2016
President Mike opened the meeting and Bryant provided a blessing and provided the morning had count:

Chuck reminded all that winterfest will be on Sunday, January 31st and that all plans are coming together.
Gerry Youngman reminded all that on April 29, 2016, the annual conference will be held in Portsmouth.
The re-induction of Tom Ives was conducted, with a total of 21 members having missed signing his book, which seems to be some sort of record.
HAPPY BUCKS
Paul Rizzi recently had a birthday and announced that 2015 “was a very, very good year.”
He retired after 45 years in banking and has only one child still in college.
Chris was happy that he will be going to Honduras and that so many members of the club volunteered to provide transportation to and from the airport.
Rob Werner was happy to be going to Iowa for the caucuses.
Dick Swett was happy that he will be hosting a delegation of 40 Danes who will be in NH to experience the presidential primary. He invited all to his home on Saturday, February 6th from 7-8 to meet the Danes.
Bryant was happy because he has his 6 year old daughter answer calls from 6-9 pm to deal with campaign calls.
Alan suggested using “no-mo-robo” to end getting calls.
Harry was fined for being a sub-standard scribe and making errors in the minutes for a prior meeting.
Paul Rizzi won the raffle but d id not pull the Joker.
Robert Louf introduced the speaker, Rene Ouellet of Dunbarton, who is a social worker with the school district.
Rene spoke about the history of volunteerism in Dunbarton and provided a comparison of Bow and Dunbarton.

While the move to the Bow schools was divisive, the community came together after the decision was made.
Rene expressed the view that expanding Rotary into Dunbarton was a great idea.
President Mike ended the meeting with a toast to Rotary worldwide.
