Last week, Leo Begin passed away, calling hours 4-7pm Friday 10/4 at Bennett Funeral Home in Concord.
Volunteer Trash Pick-up Saturday, 10/5 – Clean up on Route 3A
Auction Update: Signage has arrived, ready to place. Matt Gatzke handed out sheets for previous auction donations for this year (to find additional items). Please continue to sell raffle tickets.
Dave Scanlan announcement of new member: John McCullough. District Governor Nancy Russell – next week speaker.
Steve DeStefano: Interact Halloween Party at BHS: Encourage all to donate candy. The Bow Interact club is challenging the Bow Rotary to donate peanut butter to match their efforts. There were 500+ kids at the Halloween Party last year.
Dick Swett: For upcoming crafts fair, the Bow Interact Club is selling bird seed wreaths at Bow High School. Need volunteers to sign up to be present with the kids at event. Event Date: Nov. 23-24
Chris Parkinson & Bryant Stevener presented an International Service Award to Shannon Mills, Retired Chief Dental Officer at Northeast Delta Dental – Shannon’s trip to Honduras this year treated over 200 people, and together they pulled 500+ teeth. Shannon remarked “The mission was a phenomenal experience…” He was honored to receive the award, and intends to place it on his “I Love Me” wall.

Birthday #1: Peter Imse – Took River cruise up Rhine River, Germany for 40th anniversary vacation, it has been a great year.
Birthday #2: Jeannie Richards: Recently became grandmother. Her children are looking to move back and raise children in NH.
Paul Mercier: Going to Caribbean for three weeks.
Michelle Fortin: Supposed to go to Tahoe to tour son’s wedding venue, but decided against due to snow. Instead, went hiking in Marin County, CA and toured wine country.
Judy Goodnow: Completed her walk in Spain – lots of good cheap wine to be enjoyed on the way. Next – trip down Dalmatian Coast, Croatia.
Karen Wadsworth: Her dad is doing better, and her dog is now “sweet sixteen.” years old
Bryant Stevener: 50-70 kids showed up at Bow Mills Church to help unload this year’s pumpkins. Just celebrated 19th wedding anniversary.
Chris Parkinson: Recently went to see comedian Jim Gaffigan in Boston – he & opening act were very funny. Also sadly announced passing of Dick Tanguay – funeral scheduled for Friday, 10/4.

The Wildlife Heritage Foundation of New Hampshire is the official non-profit organization of NH Fish & Game. Their core mission is to help fund the critical educational, conservation and wildlife programs of the NH Fish & Game Department, so that future generations can continue to benefit from the outdoor quality of life in NH, and enjoy hiking, fishing, hunting and watching wildlife.
