Katrina Swett
Katrina is the founder and president of the Lantos Foundation, a leading advocate of human rights around the globe. In addition, she is a professor at Tufts University and serves on the US Council on International Religious Freedom.
Katrina spoke about the fundamental importance of freedom of religion, conscience, and belief as a basic human right. All other freedoms are built on this foundation. 75% of the world’s population lives under some form of restriction on religious and belief. It was a compelling presentation and sparked some thoughtful reactions and questions.
President Gale gave a toast to Rotary the world over to end the meeting.
