Bryant Stevener is seeking nominations for awards and recognitions for the June 15 ceremony.
Linda Bliss reported a full contingent is ready for roadside cleanup, the new vests are ready to go, and she is promising heat and sunshine.
Eric Anderson is waiting for responses from the solicitation letter that was mailed out last week for the concert series.
Ben Kiniry said the MOU for the global grant is being finalized, and then he will meet with the people from Africa. Dick Swett also mentioned a global project dealing with human trafficking has received their second payment.
Carol Niegisch reported the dates for the first-grade reading books are May 16 in Dunbarton and the 18th in Bow. There are enough reader volunteers.
Mike Griffin The club received 11 scholarship applications and is reviewing them. The scholarships will be announced on May 30
Tom Ives mentioned there are 6 applications for camperships.
Jerry Kingwill said the pavilion should be up in a couple of weeks.
David Gazaway reminded everyone the Car Show is May 20, and 41 cars have pre-registered. He also has posters.
Michelle Fortin attended the 100th anniversary of the Concord Rotary Club with 184 others in attendance.

Eric Anderson celebrated a birthday. He will be celebrating 50 years of marriage this year and 37 years of perfect attendance at Rotary.
Fines:
Ben Kiniry paid a logo fine from two weeks ago.
VanessaPalange voluntarily paid a fine for appearing on TV at a first responder training session.
Happy Bucks:
Randall Barclay was happy with the number of Bow Rotarians at Concord’s 100th anniversary celebration.
Chris Parkinson was happy with all of the district wide friends at the breakfast meeting.
Ken Moulton just got back from a trip to Naples Florida where he played a lot of tennis and pickle ball.
Dean Cascadden is filing his official retirement paperwork this week.
Matt Gatzke had a great time at the Concord 100th celebration.
President Michelle was happy for Noreen and Steve Christensen.
David Farr was happy for outdoor soccer season beginning.
David Gazaway was happy his son is going to the prom.
Donna Deos was thankful to Chris Parkinson for a ticket to the Concord celebration, and for the guest speaker today.
Program:
Donna Deos introduced the guest speaker Bill Steven who will be District Governor for 2024-2025. He will then pass the gavel to Donna. Bill is a 17-year member of the Bellows Falls Rotary Club and has been very active in the District in many ways. He has attended two thirds of the Rotary Clubs in the District so far.
Bill stressed working more closely together at the leadership level with frequent and regular communication and goal setting. We must be innovative in building our membership by listening and encouraging those who will be the future of Rotary.
President Michelle ended the meeting with a toast to Rotary the world over.
