Announcements:
President Ben open the meeting and talked about the upcoming vote for district officers, which will take place at next Friday's Club Assembly.
Nashua Rotary Club is raffling off a car or $30,000.
Under old business we will debate the merits of sponsoring a session of Gambling as a fund raiser.
Rob Werner has the roadside pickup all ready for tomorrow the 9th at 8:00 we need 14 members to make it work
Matt Gatzke - The auction is still moving ahead but we need to sell more raffle tickets. Of the 1200, we have sold 850
Still working on the set-up for the On-Line Auction. We have 85 items need more.

Tamar Roberts - $10 birthday was this week and she gave an informative talk about all her medical issues.
Peter Imse - birthday last week, it was a good year. He will be retiring from his law practice next year. Peter has decided that after many years of struggling to play the sax, he has decided to take lessons.
Fines:
Bill Ames, Jon Ruggles, Chris Parkinson and Steve DeStefano all paid fines for logos or missing pins or badges.
Sargent-At-Arms Chuck gave two dollars for forgetting the two birthdays

- Gave a happy $5 dollars to talk about the problem of getting Christmas Trees and the ongoing search, again if anyone knows of a tree farm, please let Steve know.
- Inter-act club had their first meeting with 20 members showing up their road side clean-up is on the 17th from 1-3.
- He also spent a weekend in DC watching the Sox’s beat the National’s three straight games.
Karen Wadsworth gave $5 dollars to thank everyone in general.
Chris Parkinson sad that this is the last week the kids are going to be able to come to camp this year.
Ken Moulton gave $1 because his wife Jackie was in attendance
Jackie gave $5 because Ken can finally get up and walk around well enough to get his own stuff.

Program:
Ken Moulton introduced today's guest speaker, former NH Governor John Lynch.
Governor Lynch open his talk by saying that he has played hockey with Ken for 30 years on the same offensive line and claims that Ken may have pass the puck to him only twice in 30 years. (It's a team sport Ken!!!)
He was asked if he misses being Governor. His comment was, that he especially missed visiting with the fourth graders that came to the state house ever year, as well as the many people he work with while in office.
Governor Lynch had formerly worked for the Knoll Furniture Company, helping to turn a company around that had lost 50 million dollars a year into a company that made 7.6 million a year in just four years time.
The Governor talk about the different ways that the private and public sectors were alike, best business practices and how we find ourselves in polarizing times with the government not able work together.
He also spoke on the ways that he got people to work as a team and from doing away with our highways tokens and converted the state to the E-Z Pass system. His involvement in major storm and opening up damaged roads and bridges after the hurricane in 2008. He is also proud of his work on improving NH's high school dropout rate so that we now have one of the lowest in the country.
He ended with a story about the author Dan Brown, who after failing to be successful on his first four books, sold 100 million copies of De Vince Code.
