Durwood Sargent had a surprise birthday party and enjoyed cake decorated with a John Deere tractor.

Cheryl Linder celebrated her 30th wedding anniversary.
Dave Farr is enjoying the girl’s soccer playoffs and said the “Taste of New Hampshire” event was great.
Ken Moulton attended a blues festival in Albuquerque.
Matt Dodge survived his car race which included 120 cars. It was a good time.
David Gazaway announced that his son Dillon turned 21.
Peter Imse is looking forward to the upcoming General Election. He is also looking for help pre-counting ballots next Friday after Rotary.
Chris Parkinson was happy the Yankees are in the World Series. He will be gone for two weeks on a trip to Bucharest and Budapest.
Eric Anderson enjoyed his rainy camping trips this past summer and completed his season in Twin Mountain with a 5-inch snow storm. The camper is put to bed for the season and ready for the Car Show next May.
Tanya Frost attended a great car show. She also participated in a fundraising event at the Capitol Center for the Arts. She is appreciative of the Rotary Club Support at Boys and Girls Club fundraisers.

Carol Niegisch gave an update on plans for “Trunk or Treat” being held tomorrow.
Jerry Kingwill reported 47 bags of trash were filled at Roadside Pick-up last weekend. Donna Deos shared that she received a very appreciative thank you while picking up trash.
President Gerry said content is going up on the Facebook page and is generating likes and shares.
Steve DeStefano and Dick Swett reported on Interact activity including baking pies for Thanksgiving and selling birdseed wreaths again this year. Wreaths are $20 each.
Mike Gula reviewed the Auction planning and praised the awesome effort of club members. Auction items are going up on the website, and raffle ticket sales are good. Carol Niegisch said there are only 59 raffle tickets left.
Matt Gatzke said the membership committee is meeting next week.
President Gerry said the Amigos medication drive deadline is Oct 31, and the Club will match any cash donations.
Mike Ardt said the Town Hall is having an upcoming program on the Salem Witch Trials.
President Gerry mentioned the Grants Committee has an outstanding grant request from a UNH student.
President Gerry led a discussion on interest in updating the road and trail map of Bow. It was last published 6 years ago.
There were ensuing discussions on inviting prospective members to club meetings and Improving the Rotary Club visibility with tents and banners containing the Rotary logo.
President Gerry mentioned Fidelity made a $100 contribution to the Rotary Club on behalf of Ryan.
The Rotary Park Committee is looking for members and ideas on Rotary signage on the property.
Bill Ames gave a Secretary’s report. We have 65 active and honorary members.
Mary Ann Wells form the Hooksett Club announced they are hosting a Veteran’s Day Breakfast on Nov. 9th, and Bow members are welcome to attend.
President Gerry closed the meeting at 8:30 with a toast to Rotary the world over.
