Program: Chris Parkinson introduced himself and thanked the Hampton Inn for being a great partner in Amigos de Honduras. Chris reviewed the most recent mission and the history of the project which has run for 17 years. Highlights of the many years of service were given with an entertaining slide show of pictures showing teams building schools, doing water projects and taking care of medical and dental needs. Chris ended with a song he wrote about his work in Rotary with a nice background slide show. “We’re all different but all the same, our differences fade when I know your name…. Won’t you come along with me…. If it is to be, it is up to me, and Rotary turns me into we…. We’re one family in Rotary, so won’t you came along with me.” The club gave Chris a standing ovation for his years of international service. Bryant Stevener closed the meeting with a toast to Rotary.
