Ben Kiniry was happy to announce that it appears that efforts to establish a Christian Legal Service out of CenterPoint Church (Concord) will be up and running by July. If successful, it will be the first in New England.

Matt Dodge competed in the Master’s Nationals Ski racing, a four-day event, not surprisingly, Matt won two of them. States there were some bad calls by those overseeing the event, which we all hate to hear.
Bill Ames has taken up teaching A Matter of Balance, which he is enjoying very much.
Chris Parkinson is chairing the District Conference (end of May) and is looking for Committee Members.
Peter Imse was happy to inform us that the Early Act Club Raised $325.00 at their bake sale. They will be picking local, national and Internation charities to gift $2,300 they have raised, those students are the future!
Bryant Stevener relayed his travels and all the mishaps that occurred, which included delays, staying in Boston and needing to take a bus ride home resulting in missing a meeting.
Mike Griffin shared that he attended his son’s weekend long bachelor party, which may have involved Bourbon and other activities that will remain unspoken.
Donna Deos is happy that Chris Parkinson has taken on the being Chair for the District Assembly, that she enjoyed her time at PETS with Dick and Tanya, that Justin Spenser, creator of Chaos and Kindness was a speaker, and that her daughter also attended.
Tanya Frost who is now aware that it is Friday, also had fun at PETS with Dick and Donna. Tanya also noted how impressed she was with the boys and girls who competed in a speech contest in which they had to discuss “What the Boys & Girls Club means to them?”
David Gazaway states that two major sponsors have provided funds for the car show and thanked Mike Gula for assisting in finding a new sponsor: Diamond Detailing Service, LLC.
Gerry Carrier is both happy and sad that his granddaughter will be attending auto mechanics school in Wyoming.
Program: Club Assembly
Our Treasurer, Tamar Roberts, stated that we do in fact have money! Then provided more specificity.
Our Secretary, Bill Ames informed the club that our latest attendance was at 81.41% with a membership total of 64 (which is impressive), and that most dues have been paid.
Announcements by our President, Gerry Carrier:
The board continues to work out the details on the Sarah Tisdale donation to the club, likely a 10-12 year payout.
The club has significant available funds, we need to find worthy projects to put those funds to good use.
The club raised and will be making a $2,100 donation to the Bow family of Chris Girard, who recently passed away unexpectedly.
Recognition night is coming, everyone should be entering nominations for those who have served our community and the world well.
The Club has received three campership requests.
The Club has donated $500 to Interact who participated in the Waypoint SleepOut for NH Youth Experiencing Homelessness.
The club has received a request for a $5,000 donation from Christ the King Church to assist in the building of their new food pantry. The club will not be fulfilling this request.
Rotary Park Marker is in process.
The club looked into sponsoring local sporting teams, however, they all have sponsors for this year, perhaps next year.
The car show is seven weeks away!
Ben Kiniry was happy to announce that Thrive Feminine Hygiene Pilot Project will be moving forward in Nigeria, Ben will be making a request to the board to disperse funds.
Jerry Kingwill announced that Roadside pickup will be in April.
David Farr announced the Summer Concerts Committee is back in action and has some starting capital from last year’s fundraising.
Mike Gula is getting estimates to have two sets of Cornhole boards made and wrapped by “Fleet Ink” and pointed out they could be utilized at the car show, concerts and other venues.
President Gerry closed the meeting with a toast to Rotary the world over.
