Speaker:
Dave Scanlon introduced - Shawn Jasper, N.H. House Speaker

Lives in Hudson, interests in Geneology and History.
Terry Pfaff, House Chief of Staff is a retired firefighter.  Together Shawn and Terry have restored decorum in House.
Shawn spoke on what it is like to run the House and described the House as always being in a “state of controlled chaos.”  He and Terry work to keep it in check.
They work with a $16.6 million total budget for House and Senate.  There are 400 members
in the Legislature.
As it pertains to submitting bills, Shawn is very familiar tieh the House Rules.  It operates
Under the Masons Rules (570 pages).  Always working on a better system of submitting
Bills.
New security changes being introduced for this day and age.
Road Infrastructure is one issue they are working on.  We have a Structural Deficit and Shawn has come to the conclusion that is is a good idea, as it makes the Legislature work harder.
We are lucky to have Dave Scanlon, Secretary of State, working for us on the Election Laws.
