President Rick opened the meeting and Bryant informed us that, in Honor of Martin Luther King Day, we should all have a dream.
 
Attendance:
39 members
2 visiting Rotarians, including Tony Gilmore
3 guests:  Rotarian Rafael Castillo and his son Rafy from Honduras were Chris’s guests, and Chris Nicolopoulos, Harry’s guest.
 
President Rick announced that Rich Farro resigned from the club do to demands of his job.
Chuck provided an update on Winterfest to be held on Sunday, January 31st.  Signs will be available before the weekend.
Gale provided a report on the Community Leaders Meeting, which was lightly attended.
President Rick presented Mike Fortier with his second Paul Harris Fellowship recognition.
Dean announced that career day in the schools will be on March 4th.   He seeks speakers willing to provide 45 minutes of entertainment to 8th graders.  Also, the 4-way speech contest will be held on March 15th at the White Rock Living Center.
 
Happy Bucks:
Chris was happy to have Rafael and Rafy attending the meeting.
Tony Gilmore was happy to look forward to seeing more of Rafy.
Karen reminded people of the spaghetti dinner fund raiser for the Public Safety Building.  It will be held on Saturday, January 23rd at the Community Building.
Rob Werner was happy that Jimmy Tingle will be the speaker on February 5th.
Rafael was happy for the great relationship between Hondurans and the US, thanks to the Rotary Club.
Rafy was happy for the same reason, and for graduating NHTI with a degree and two certificates and the opportunity to attend SNHU to complete his BA.
President Mike thanked Gale for covering for him last week so he could have a vacation with his family in Orlando, where they had a wonderful time.
Bob Couch was happy for the assistance of Allied Insurance with getting auto insurance for Rafy's car.
Dave Gazaway was happy that the Club raised $1,192 for a homeless woman from Bow. 
 
 
Bob Couch introduced Jane Oneial, the Executive Director of the League of NH Craftsmen.  She informed the Club of the history of the League from artisans working from their homes to the present, with 8 galleries in the state and conducting the Annual Craftsman Fair (which will be August 6-14 this year), with over 25,000 persons attending each year.
Jane explained the significance of be a “Juried Craftsman”, and the process for attaining the distinction. 
 
The Club thanked Jane for her presentation, and President Mike ended the meeting with a toast to Rotary, the world over.
