President Matt opened the meeting at 07:30 and greeter Judy shared some inspiration.

Announcements:
Matt immediately started the meeting concerning a satellite club, Hooksett Rotary (HARC). Detailed email was sent to Bow Rotarians prior to Friday’s meeting.
- They ceased to exist as a rotary club if they are not adopted by July1st.
- They only have 13 in their club so satellite club is the alternative.
- They are motivated to reach 20 in their club.
- Hooksett Club has 3 meetings a month and they appear to have good attendance.
- They partner with other organizations -example given about bag-packs.
- Bow Club’s Administration will need to set to separate account for the Hooksett Club. They will oversee administration duties for this satellite club.
Members asked questions to Tamar and Bill on their thoughts and level of comfort. Others questions came up about tracking, is this short-term, and attendance.
Taking a vote was suggested by a member.
Matt Dodge asked for a vote to get consensus who were good moving forward- majority raised their hands and the board will vote over the weekend.
Gerry asked those who have other concerns to approach himself, Matt, Tamar, and Bill.
Additional Announcements:
- Recognition Night is Thursday, June 20th 6 pm. Food and drink to be served.
- Dues are out and get them to Bill by June 28th
- Let board know if you are not joining club for next term before July 1st.

Takes off to Portland for anniversary along Cape Elizabeth- cruise about the city and light houses
Ben- ‘“happy to be in a presence of handsome gentlemen wearing pink shirt?”
Dave- Shopping and tournament- scared Gerry “Give me all your money”
Robbie-Happy to come to Bow and that’s one of the reasons
Marcy- Bow boy team games- great job - Baseball and Lacrosse coming to an end.
Matt G -in Nashua- daughter has an exhibit and Walk for the Kids, in honor of Emily

Program:
David Tirrell-Wysocki Retired Executive Director, Nackey S. Loeb School of Communications, Retired AP Newsman and band member of the Freeze Brothers band -performed at Bow Rotary concert series.
- As part of the Associated Press, he covered the president campaigns and New Hampshire Primary. He wanted to share a light-hearted look at the long shots and hope to give a different perspective on politics.
- Shared many stories of President candidacy that he covered. Covered 9 primary’s and called many of them asking what they were thinking, why do you want to run?
- Met Jimmy Carter -Explain he changed the landscape of the primary b/c he started so early.
- Shared slides of different NH Primary’s including newspaper articles, political campaign flukes, and slogans like ‘Jesus is my press agent’- from the Clegg’s campaign.
- Filing of president candidates is a big deal because it attracts media attention and probably the only time they will get media attention. Paying $1000.
- Shared total and Bow voting numbers for these unique candidates.
- 45 on ballot this year- one of them being Rachel Swift- legalizing and prostitution 105 votes and the ‘Swifty’s’ adding Taylor Swift got 5 votes 0 Bow
- Candidates now using social media for their campaign but in the past- they were holding babies, go fishing, bowling, and sledding.
- Ended with candidate Pat Paulson who got one vote for this year’s primary after being deceased for years… Known for his slogan-‘I’ve upped my standards not up yours’ .
- Per David -Dave Scanlan shared thoughts about New Hampshire Primary.
President Matt closed the meeting with a toast to Rotary the world over.
