- Bill McGonagle updated the club’s membership count. 52 members, 5 honorary.
- Ben Kiniry reported the final concert is this Sunday. Chuck Reinhardt 'offered' to swap his duty, as he will be away. A good Rotarian stepped up to help.
- Paul Mercier reported $54,000 in the Foundation account and $27,000 in Club account ($25,000 of which not yet paid to the Bow School Habitat project).
- President Judy reminded us that monies will also be going to update the old Town Hall’s handicap access.

All is well in the Kipperman household. Son getting married. Daughter doing well with her family and kids, Juniper and Aspen. His wife is still putting up with him, as she’s still there when he gets home from work. He’s enjoying his company’s new employee, Donna!
Bill McGonagle
Retired...everyday is Saturday…life is good. He’s appreciative of
his wife, as he will be in Ireland for their anniversary. Bill sounds pretty sure she’ll still be here when he gets back.
Happy Bucks:
- Sandy Eldredge gave a happy $10. She and her husband procured a place to live until the right down-size house comes along, having just sold their home.
- John Ruggles – Happy his wife has finally gotten a clean bill of health after a 9-week ordeal dealing with the after effects of a burst appendix…not fun! John won two gas grills and happily donated to the Boys and Girls Club Auction.
- Ben Kiniry – Happy he and his wife are leaving for vacation
- Steve DeStefano- Is looking for someone to help out with Sunset League
- Alan Kanegsberg gave an update on his son’s recent race.
- Mike Griffin – Happy he ran the Cigna Race and finished in 24 minutes
- Dave Christie - happy to say that the golf tournament is sold out again. Thank you for $250 from Bow Rotary
- Guest – Is happy to be doing a make up at our club. (understandably)
- Tamar Roberts is celebrating 25th anniversary and got home from Newfoundland just before midnight in time to celebrate her anniversary with hubby.
- Jeannie Richards is enjoying table hopping hoping to encourage others to do the same and break away from their usual mini-Rotary tables.
- Nate Sanel – Rode his 1st wheelie in 5 months after a lengthy recuperation.
- Noreen Christensen – Leaving right after meeting to head down to Charlestown, RI to visit Jack and Linda McAllister (Jack a former Bow Rotarian).
- Michelle Fortin is excited to be leaving for Seattle and Vancouver on Tuesday for a week vacation with her kids. Good times!
- Steve DeStefano – Happy for the Concord Monitor’s great article on the Concord Sunset (Baseball) League. Steve, being the sole coordinator of this league is ready for some help and support to keep this league going. It has been in existence since 1909!
Business (Club Assembly):
Pres. Judy said the club is contemplating buying a trailer with shelving to house our event items. The cost could be in the $8,000-9,000 range. Dave Gazaway said he would be willing to house it at Allied Insurance. There were some thoughts as to where the money should come from, Foundation fund or Club money. No vote or consensus at this point. In addition to the obvious benefit of having everything in one place, the trailer would be “wrapped”, which would give us public exposure for the Club…a rolling billboard. We could also rotate its location for maximum exposure. Jim Whallley was approached (H.K. Powersports) for trailer pricing. Also Don Berube offered 30% off. Wrap is a cool way to go, but expensive…$2,000 even discounted.
The trailer came in at $6,000. Aluminum is a little more, but may be worth it, as it will not deteriorate.
We have $14,000 available, so we are able to do and still have our $5,000 reserve balance.
Harry Judd will look into the possibility of using an empty bay at the community building for our storage for the time being. The benefit would be that we will have a chance to organize everything and get a better idea how much we have and what size trailer will be needed. It was decided that we have time and a decision will be held off until we have more info.
Raffle: Dave Gazaway won the raffle to no avail.
