Slate of officers for 2019-2020 elected unanimously
"She Who Feeds Us" Sandy Bartlett was thanked loudly and presented with a Christmas gift from the Club.
 
Announcements:
Michelle Fortin - Booster Club "Sit on It" raffle drawing tonight 
Gerry Carrier - Need volunteers to help paint  the kitchen on 1/13
Dave Gazaway - Salvation Army Bell Ringing at old Market Basket 12/21  10 am-7 pm; volunteers needed
Jon Ruggles - B & G Club auction raised $100,000
Bow Rotarians passed the basket for a Bow Welfare collection over two weeks - $800
 
Birthdays:
Gale Kenison has a b'day tomorrow.  Has had a "good year"
Jerry Kingwell Has had 38 pine trees removed from his property; took another trip to South Africa where he enjoyed watching his 3-yr old grandson seeing all the animals
 
Fines and Happy Bucks:
Sargent-At-Arms Ben Kiniry paid a fine for not knowing Club Rules & a happy buck for being "madly in love" for last 22 years!
Chris Parkinson was happy that while "busking"  this am, he raised $76  for Amigos
Mike Griffin's daughter is moving back to NH
Someone (?) was happy for the pork pies at breakfast
Judy Goodnow had a wonderful day  with her new granddaughter
Michelle Fortin was happy her mom could be here
Noreen Christensen is happy to be leaving for Florida for the holidays
Bill McGonagle was glad to be here and reported that the new house in CT is going well
 
Program:
Dave Stack introduced new town employee Chris Andrews who will be working on public/private partnerships as the Facilities and Buildings Manager (new Town position replaces old one) .  Chris is retired from the Concord Fire Dept.  He facilitated the recent meeting with Rotary, the Mens' Club and the Garden Club re: usage of the Old Town Hall.  He and Dave also spoke about Rotary Park and the 4 historic buildings in town.  Restrooms in the Community Building will be renovated over the upcoming holidays.
He is waiting for the lighting/energy reports on town buildings.  Chris is currently sharing office space with Tonia, Dave's Administrative Assistant.
 
The meeting closed with a toast to Rotary and holiday wishes to all.
