Announcements:
4-way speech contest March 31st Baker Library. We’ve received our first applicant!
Chris Parkinson - District Conference is May 30th in Keene NH. Sign-up sheet is going around. We would like to have a big number from our club as it’s Donna’s Conference. The service project for this year is collecting supplies for backpacks going to the Pine River Reservation Project. Chris will email Club member’s information regarding the Conference and project this afternoon.
President Dick reviewed the 16 goals he set forth for his presidency back in July.
We have 47 members, 44 active. The club’s goal is to add 4 (added 1 so far)
Review our Strategic Plan.
Service participation goal of 44 which we have passed.
$2,000 in individual total donations to RI. Well on our way.
Club social activities: goal was 3 so far we’ve had 4 events.
Service Projects: goal was 12 so far we’ve done 15.
Continue to fine tune our online presence.

Updating Club By-laws: finished that mostly with Gerry’s year as president.

Dick Swett was happy for his grandson who had a goal and an assist in a recent hockey. Hopkinton is now 15-1. He’s also been accepted to the Air Force Academy
Program: Club Assembly
Secretaries Report: Bill Ames: Attendance for the last month was 87.14. 47 Members, 44 active and 3 Honorary. Currently there is only $450 in outstanding breakfast fees for the rest of the year.
Treasurer’s Report: Tamar Roberts: The Club has an end balance of $11,919.49 with $1,346.20 in receipts for the Month of January. The Foundation has an end balance of $81,291.86 with $27,507.81 in receipts for the Month of January.
Club and Admin:
Ken and David have been doing a great job at set up.
Barbara Griffin nothing to add with the program. Everything is going smoothly.
Community:
First Grade reading is scheduled for Friday May 15th. Carol will send a sign-up sheet as the date nears.
Save the date: June 11th Award and Recognition night at the Baker Free Library.
Concert Series: The board decided we should continue with the shows but reduce the number from 6 to 5, 3 weeks in July and 2 in August. We have 2 bands lined up, Mr. Aaron and The Freeze Brothers.
Ben commented there was a Grant request that came in this week. He will report back when more information is gathered.
Vocational: Nothing new to Report.
International:
Chris Parkinson reports the Amigo’s trip was a success this year with no major issues.
New Generations:
Ryan Anastasi: reports the Interact would like to host a game night that includes Rotarians, Interact and Early Act clubs maybe sometime in May.
Peter Imse: reports the Early Act Club had a bake sale at a recent basketball game which raise a little over $300. They currently have over $2,000 in their account. The next step is to decide when and what to do with it.
Mike Gula: Scholarship applications are due on April 1st. They will be awarded at the June 1st awards night. The Budget breakdown this year will be $22,000 for Scholarships and $5,000 for Camperships.
Next week the Greeter will be Vanessa Palange and Matt Gatzke has the program.
