  • Bill Ames hit the big 7-0. It’s been a strange year. He and his wife bought a new home and they are staying there.
Happy Bucks

  • Gerry Carrier was happy because he and Harry Judd sold 16 trees and 4 wreaths on Thursday.
  • Tamar Roberts was happy because she presented the audit to Chester School District via Zoom. She was dressed up within the camera view and she had pajama pants on.
  • David Stack was happy that the Town’s Holiday Parade was such a success. It was great to see all of the people all along the 14-mile route.
  • Donna Deos was happy that she got to hold her 2 year old grandchild in her arms, she will be assuming a new role with the District and Betsy gave her a folding table.
  • Dick Swett was happy to sell trees with Peter Imse and see the parade.
  • Bryant had fun participating in the parade with Virg.
  • Mark Lavelle was happy to see everyone.
Program
Eric Anderson introduced our speaker, Heather Farid, director of the SPCA. It has been different type of year due  to COVID-19. They did 1,080 adoptions last year and 763 this year. Fundraising has been difficult, and they have been doing a lot of virtual programs and fundraisers. They are looking for new board members. The new dog park in Concord is a big improvement over the old park. There have been a lot of upgrades and it is more visible and accessible.  They continue to offer programs that have been adapted to meet social distancing guidelines.
