Bow Rotary Donates $25,000 to BMS "Wildcat Habitat" Project
Located in a scenic location on the north side of the Bow Memorial School, between the building and the ball fields, the Wildcat Habitat project offers an opportunity for interacting with nature in an outdoor setting.

The Bow Rotary Club Foundation donated $25,000 toward the $75,000 needed for the project becoming an “Oak” level sponsor.

The Upper Habitat is located nearest the BMS building, featuring picnic tables and stationary outdoor equipment for physical activity.  This area also enables teaching staff the space to engage a class in outdoor learning in an inspiring setting.
Children can sit and chat during recess as well as meet as a class.

The Lower Habitat has a spacious amphitheater built into the hillside overlooking a stage.  It provides a comfortable space and additional seating for an outdoor classroom large enough for full grade-level learning, and/or larger community organizations to gather for community events.

The BMS Wildcat Habitat is a community-driven effort led by Bow Memorial School Principal, Adam Osburn, to inspire personal growth, health, creativity and connection with nature. Connecting with nature is critical for the well-being of children and adults. Bow Rotary is proud to help our students and community in this way.
