DESCRIPTION:$1\,000 for Your Thoughts The Rotary Club of Bow will host its 
 annual public-speaking contest for high school students at 7 pm on March 2
 8.  To encourage robust competition\, the first place winner in Bow will
  earn $500\, second place will earn $300\, and third place will earn $200.
    Contestants speak for five to seven minutes on topics of their choosi
 ng and use Rotary’s “Four-Way Test” to analyze a personal decision o
 r course of action.    Bow’s winner will have an opportunity to compe
 te at the District competition in Danvers\, MA\, on May 4.  An applicati
 on form and additional details are posted at BowRotary.org.   Bow Rotary
 ’s contest is open to students attending Bow High School and to resident
 s of Bow and Dumbarton who are home schooled.   The contest will be hel
 d in the Bow Rotary Community Room at Bow’s Baker Free Library. The pub
 lic is encouraged to attend.
