We enjoyed an excellent club meeting with our guests, our Chairman, Geoff Somerville, and our guest speaker, Glenn Gatehouse from the Toowoomba West Special School. Glenn gave a truly engaging presentation that generated plenty of interest, thoughtful questions, and informative answers. We are looking forward to welcoming him back for a vocational visit in the near future.
Past President Peter Burrows raised some questions regarding club fees. Please be assured that we will have the answers as soon as possible. Thanks, Pete.
On Friday evening, the combined Rotary clubs came together to support the Domestic Violence Vigil for Jana Armstrong at Civic Square in the Toowoomba City Centre. It was a very moving tribute and a meaningful opportunity for our community to stand together against domestic violence.
On Saturday, we had a fantastic result at the Bunnings barbecue at Toowoomba North. A special thank you to Tony and all the team for their hard work and commitment throughout the day. Your efforts delivered an excellent result for our club, and you should all be congratulated.
This Thursday, we also have our annual debate against St Xavier's School. We wish our own team every success as they aim to bring home the honours this year. Good luck, boys—we're all behind you!
Well done, everyone. Thank you for another great week of service and fellowship.
We'll see you all on Thursday.
Yours in Rotary,
Peter Nalder

To all my fellow Rotarians,
Thank you all for your wonderful effort and commitment at today's Bunnings Barbecue at Toowoomba North. Your willingness to give your time and work together is what enables our Rotary Club to make a real difference in our community.
Thank you to John Liley and Geoff Martin for generously doubling up on their shifts. Your extra effort was greatly appreciated and is a fine example of the Rotary spirit of Service Above Self.
And it was wonderful to have our very own AG Wendy Byron who worked alongside us today. Well done Tony & Barney for getting everything ready for the day.
Congratulations to everyone involved. I am proud to be part of such a dedicated and caring Rotary family.
Kind regards,
Peter J. Nalder

Your speedy return advice of “Yes” or “No” will be much appreciated. If your response is YES please note it in your calendar/diary!
Sincerely
