Our Annual Changeover was an outstanding success, made even more special as we celebrated the 50th Anniversary of our Rotary Club. This wonderful milestone reflects five decades of service, friendship, and commitment to our community.
On the night, we recognised and celebrated the outstanding contributions of our members. I would like to extend my sincere congratulations to Paul Stephenson, Geoff Somerville, Tony Jarroush, Roger Klaassen, Henry Campey and Craig Mathieson on their awards.
A very special thank you to Gilie, Gary, Roger, Grahame, Geoff S, Graig, Geoff K, Tony and Kim for their support and contributions to our 50th Changeover dinner.
Members, your dedication, hard work, and willingness to serve have made a lasting difference to our club and the people we help. Thank you for your outstanding service and commitment.
To every member, whether you received an award on the night, or have quietly worked behind the scenes, thank you. Every act of service, no matter how great or small, strengthens our club and upholds the Rotary motto of Service Above Self.
As we begin a new Rotary year, I look forward to working with each and every one of you, with my Board alongside me, we will continue to build on the achievements of those who have gone before us. Together, I know, we can make this another successful and rewarding year filled with service, fellowship, and fun.

A big thank you to those who donated raffle prizes for the evening and especially to Craig for donating the major prize. This generated an amazing amount of money to go towards the cost of the Changeover.
I encourage everyone to get involved, support one another, and enjoy the friendships that make The Rotary Club of Toowoomba East Inc, so special. Our fellowship begins straight away, and I invite you all to join us at our Thursday Night meeting (2 July at the Toowoomba Sports club) and share in the company of good Rotarian friends.
