The first proper meeting for the new year back at The Downs Club went well. It was great to see Brett Motton and Mark Winter enjoying lunch with us again.

Sgt Paul was on fire, fining members with minimal regard for the 4 way test and the jokes he told had us in stitches.

Unfortunately there were quite a few members who gave late notice of their apology and we were 5 down on the numbers we gave the Downs Club at Tuesday lunchtime.

This is the first time that our secretary’s well-tuned formula for giving numbers has been significantly under and we have had to pay the Downs Club for extra 5 meals ($175).

Invoices for meals will be issued to those members.

PDG Jitendra Prasad was scheduled to speak this Thursday about Rotary Leadership Institute but he is an apology for this week and instead, we will be blessed with another instalment of the life story of Paul Stephenson.

Ron Bowden and Geof Somerville are organising the Flexi School working bee that will be this coming Saturday (1^st Feb) starting at 7.30am

The event is on the ClubRunner event schedule and we will be seeking members keen to help out.

The Easterly Bulletin editor will be including two new flyers for upcoming events in this edition of the Easterly.

The Say NO to DV Walk on March 28^th.
Rep Theatre night with RC Toowoomba Metropolitan on 26^th February.
