It is with great sadness that we acknowledge the passing of our fellow Rotarian, Chris Warmington.

Chris exemplified the true spirit of Rotary and lived the principle of “Service Above Self.” Through his dedication, generosity and commitment to helping others, he made a lasting contribution to Rotary and to the wider community. He will be remembered with great affection and respect by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

We extend our sincere condolences to Chris’s family and friends, and to his many colleagues throughout the Rotary community. Our thoughts are with them at this difficult time.

I would also like to thank Ron and Phil for their efforts at this week’s working bees. Their continued commitment and hard work are greatly appreciated, and they have once again done an excellent job, and a big thank-you again to Andy Burke and Dennis Burke from Burke Industries for theit assistance and use of their escavator.

Last Thursday, we enjoyed a fascinating and entertaining presentation from Lex Franks, who provided an informative insight into BMW motorcycles. Thank you, Lex, for the time and effort you put into preparing and delivering such an engaging presentation.

I look forward to seeing members at our meeting this Thursday evening at the Sports Club.

Finally, members are reminded that Tony and the team would welcome assistance with the Bunnings BBQ this Friday. If you are available to help, even for a short time, your support would be greatly appreciated.

That’s our week in Rotary.
