Well, what could go wrong – with Phil Gillam and Myself at the helm, alas, we were saved by 3 excellent guest speakers.
Mikayla Von Loeben-Close, year 10 student from Flexi School, gave us a comprehensive overview of her lifechanging moment when she transitioned from mainstream education to Flex School.
Her presentation was admirable to say the least, and we are honored that she offered to share her progress midway through Year 12.
It was also a breath of fresh air to have a very grounded Principal with a common sense approach such as Dan Lindenmayer, give us an insight into his educational journey.
As always, it’s great to listen to Linda Burke’s passion for Flexi School, and it was very fitting to have Mark’s heartfelt “Vote of Thanks”. Thanks Mark.
As mentioned at the meeting, Alan Muldoon, who participated in 5-6 Outback Getaway’s, has recently passed away. The Club passes on condolences to Alan’s Wife and Family.

Craig Mathieson has done an excellent job in putting a team together to help out at the Dalby Stockhorse Sale. Once again, if you would like to volunteer, please contact Craig.

Henry gave a comprehensive report on the progress of Outback Getaway 2025. It has long been spoken about, that we need to remove the financial burden of this event from Club Members, so the Committee is endeavoring to seek as much outside sponsorship as possible. If you know of anyone that may be interested in sponsoring this event, please contact Rob Baryla or myself
