Announcements: Bob Dodd announced that this Saturday will be Family Day at Normandy Place. Volunteers required

                            Mike Henry reminded everyone of the Golf Tournament Sept, 19th at Pipers Heath. Foursomes needed

                            Lengthy discussion on membership and whether the club should return to in person / hybrid / or video meetings

 

Happy Bucks: David Peters managed to have several Rotarians contribute to Happy Bucks. Rudy was particularly thankful for all he learned and experienced as District Governor last year. David asked three questions which some members got and others did not, raising extra funds. 

 

Speaker: The speaker for the evening was President Amin. He was introduced by George Farrow. Amin has been in The Rotary Club of Oakville since 2007 and  has a long family connection with Rotary. Amin outlined three Objectives for his year as President. First to encourage fellowship in our club, Second to create more links with other clubs and Third to encourage more interaction amongst members. It was agreed that we had an excellent discussion and should have more of these types of discussions amongst our members.
