DESCRIPTION:Nolan Machan will be sharing his knowledge of\, and enthusiasm 
 for\, the history and impact of Oakville News and the state of local news 
 on Oakville and across Canada. Oakville News is a online news source for O
 akville Ontario founded in November 2012. It covers a variety of topics fr
 om local sports\, news\, politics\, health\, businesses\, events\, and com
 munity profiles.  Nolan Machan first lived in Oakville in 1979 while atte
 nding high school. In 1990 after marrying his university sweetheart\, they
  purchased their first home in Glen Abbey and raised one son\, who is now 
 the butcher at Fortino’s.  Due to winter closure of the Oakville Golf C
 lub\, there will be change in our venue. We will be meeting at Amica Bront
 ë Harbor for the first quarter of 2024\, 6.00 for 6.30pm as usual. It is 
 located at 160 Bronte Road. Parking is available underground and at the ch
 urch lot across the road. Dinner charge is $30 payable by e-transfer to ro
 taryoakville1925@gmail. Further info on Amica Brontë Harbor: 1. From the
  underground you need to take the elevator to the ground floor.  2. Proce
 ed to the reception for sign-in. Same goes with entering through the front
  door. 3. The receptionist will guide you where to proceed. 4. You need to
  buzz for someone to let you enter the underground parking. 5. Members can
  park in unreserved spots on the north side.
