DESCRIPTION:Jeff Mamer is the CEO of Big Brothers Big Sisters – the leadi
 ng youth mentoring organization in Canada - serving the Grand Erie\, Halto
 n\, and Hamilton communities. Jeff's presentation will include: a) Impact 
 report for our club's recent donation to BBBS b) Highlights of BBBS's wor
 k in Oakville c) BBBS's vision for future youth impact BBBS fills a gap 
 in our community by working directly with young people and matches them wi
 th a caring\, consistent adult\, who works with young people helping them 
 develop a wide range of skills and provide emotional support and teach cop
 ing strategies.  Jeff is a graduate of the DeGroote School of Business MB
 A program and holds a degree in Kinesiology from McMaster University. He l
 ives in Oakville with his wife and children. Due to winter closure of the 
 Oakville Golf Club\, there will be change in our venue. We will be meeting
  at Amica Brontë Harbor for the first quarter of 2024\, 6.00 for 6.30pm a
 s usual. It is located at 160 Bronte Road. Parking is available undergroun
 d and at the church lot across the road. Dinner charge is $30 payable by e
 -transfer to rotaryoakville1925@gmail.
