New Rotary International Theme Months Announced

Rotary International has announced a change in the traditional Rotary Theme months, beginning with this 2015-16 Rotary year. (August and November remain unchanged, however.)

The new theme months are as follows:

JULY - No special designation - Start of new Rotary year

AUGUST - Membership and Extension Month

SEPTEMBER - Basic Education and Literacy Month

OCTOBER - Economic and Community Development Month

NOVEMBER - Rotary Foundation Month

DECEMBER - Disease Prevention and Treatment Month

JANUARY - Vocational Service Month

FEBRUARY - Peace and Conflict Prevention/Resolution Month

MARCH - Water and Sanitation Month

APRIL - Maternal and Child Health Month

MAY - Youth Service Month

JUNE - Rotary Fellowships Month
