Thank you for your ongoing support of the Bellaire / Southwest Houston Rotary Club and its many community service projects. For the past 18 years, the " Flags Over Bellaire" program has been our Club's largest fundraiser. Unfortunately, our flags have not been immune from inflationary price increases, so effective February 1, 2023, the subscription price will increase to $ 75.00 per flag, per year for all new and renewing subscribers.
Our club strives to provide a high-quality product and has an ongoing program to maintain flags so residents and business owners are proud to have placed in their front yard.
In 2022, our Club awarded eleven $3,000 college scholarships to deserving students from five local high schools. We are proud of our “Shop with the Cop” program that partners with the Bellaire Police Department to provide 20 elementary students the opportunity to buy holiday presents for their families, and something for themselves. We also support local organizations including the Bellaire Police and Fire Foundation, Patrons for Bellaire Parks, Christian Community Service Center, Senior Rides & More and, most recently, contributed funding for the First Responders 9/11 Memorial in Bellaire. We also support international programs such as Living Waters of the World where we have installed 16 water purification facilities serving families, schools and medical facilities in Mexico, Haiti, Cuba and Columbia over the past fifteen years.
