ABOUT CONSTABLE ALAN ROSEN

Constable Alan Rosen’s law enforcement knowledge, ethics, business experience, training, and education help him manage and lead the Harris County Precinct One Constable’s Office to further success and growth.

First elected in 2012 and re-elected in 2016, Constable Rosen has spent more than 29 years in local law enforcement at the Constable’s Office and the Harris County Sheriff’s Office. He has worked in the Patrol Unit, Marine Patrol Unit, Warrants, Narcotics and Mental Health.

Constable Rosen has saved taxpayer money every year in office by bringing a business approach to managing the budget.

During his first year in office, he created the first Precinct One Special Response Group (“SRG”), the S.W.A.T. – Certified Tactical Response Team and the Game Room and Human Trafficking Task Force.

As a leader in emerging technology, Constable Rosen led Precinct One to become the first Harris County law enforcement agency to deploy body cameras for deputies. One of his first official acts as Constable was to ensure that all personnel received mandatory ethics training.

ABOUT BERNIE SATTERWHITE

Bernie Satterwhite is currently mostly retired at his beloved 3-Wire Ranch in Flatonia, Texas. He works as a Management Consultant, most recently acting as Interim City Manager for the City of Flatonia.

Before his retirement, he worked as the successful City Manager for the City of Bellaire from 2000 – 2014. While serving as Bellaire’s City Manager, Bernie managed complex infrastructure projects, guided Bellaire to a AAA bond rating, retooled the staff organization and improved communications with citizens. 

His illustrious career serving the public in various jobs also includes serving two years as Executive Director of the United Way of Lauderdale County (Mississippi) in Meridian, MS, where he solicited, collected and distributed nearly one million dollars in donated funds to 9 area charitable organizations annually.

Prior to that, Bernie served for 25 years in the U.S. Navy as a carrier-based pilot. During that time, he deployed worldwide on various aircraft carriers and served in numerous shore-based assignments in Texas and Virginia. He commanded a shipboard A-6 Intruder attack squadron, based in NAF Atsugi, Japan and deployed on USS Midway during Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm in 1990-91. He subsequently served as commanding officer of a shore-based A-6 training squadron and the east coast A-6 Airwing based in Virginia Beach, Va. He retired from the Navy in June 1998, after completing his fourth command tour, this time as Commanding Officer of Naval Air Station Meridian, MS in June 1998. Bernie received numerous awards and citations during his naval career, including the Legion of Merit, the Distinguished Flying Cross and the Bronze Star medal, in addition to other individual and service awards. 

Bernie received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in management from the University of Texas at Austin and a Master of Science degree in Strategic Studies and National Security Decision Making from the Naval War College in Newport, Rhode Island.  He was a member and past-president of the Bellaire/SW Houston Rotary Club.  He is a founder of the Willbern Heritage Scholarship Foundation.

He and his wife, Pat, live in Flatonia.

ABOUT ROBERT WEBRE

Robert Webre is the owner of Silverback Self Defense. With over 20 years of martial arts experience in TaeKwon-Do, Jui-Jitsu, Kickboxing and Krav Maga, Robert is passionate about teaching Self Defense. He is a 6^th Degree Black Belt in TaeKwon-Do, two time bronze medalist and avid competitor. He is an international TaeKwon-Do coach and internationally certified instructor. In addition to TaeKwon-Do, Robert is a certified KMG Krav Maga instructor, certified NRA pistol instructor and Licensed to Carry instructor. In addition to his self defense training and credentials, Robert is a personal trainer and kettlebell instructor. Robert and his wife have owned Cypress Martial Arts and Fitness in the Cypress area for the past 16 years teaching TaeKwon-Do, Kickboxing and Krav Maga. Robert and Valerie have been married for 29 years and have four children and three grand-children.

Shop with a Cop is back again! In partnership with the Bellaire Police Department, officers will take students from BraeBurn and Rodriguez Elementary shopping at Target to buy holiday gifts for their families!
