Gary is married to Janice Gillen and they have two married daughters and one granddaughter. They own Gillen Pest Control in Richmond, Texas where he is a member of the Rotary Club of Richmond. Gary held many offices in his club, after joining in 2001, including club President in 2010-2011. He served on many committees at the District level including Assistant Governor 2013-2016. Gary was District Governor 2019-2020. Janice and their two daughters are Paul Harris Fellows, and Gary is a multiple Paul Harris Fellow, a Paul Harris Society Member and a Major Donor. Gary, who calls himself the luckiest man you will ever meet, is a dedicated Texas Aggie. He and Janice have raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for Texas A&M University, particularly for veterans attending college there. He has served our citizens at the local level as a City Councilman in two cities and a political party chairman in his county; at the state level as vice-chair of a state regulatory agency and on the state Pest Control association board; and at the national level having been appointed by both the George W. Bush and Barack Obama administrations to the Good Neighbor Environmental Board-the only independent Presidential Advisory board in the federal government. He has written political columns for two magazines and consulted for political campaigns. In his spare time, he likes to read, travel, collect books and miniature buildings, create jobs, and, of course, volunteer. |

Almeria Lacy is a Iraq freedom veteran that served 28 years in the Army. Se's married to her childhood sweetheart and is mother of three adult children. She attended Savannah State University with a concentration in Business Administration and is the Chaplain of Steel Heels Women Motorcycle club. She is a founding member of Sigma Phi Psi United States Armed Forces Sorority. She is currently a member of Rotary International and is the CEO of Crimes and Self Protection Awareness Advisors. Shawn Lacy is a christian mother of three (3) and grandmother of four grandchildren. She grew up in Houton's 5th Ward and is the only girl of three surviving siblings. She graduated valedictorian from Michael E. Debakey High Scholl for Health Professions and attend St. Leo University where she obtained a BA in Criminal Justice. She spent four years in the United State Army, serving as a communications specialist. While assigned to combat communications in South Korea during Operation Desert Storm. Shawn has dedicated over 30 years of her life to serving her country. her community and the "Great" State of Teas as a Peace Officer. She has been a notary for 32 years. She is the Founder and CEO of Justice For The Culture, where she passionately works to bridge the gap between the community and the texas justice system. Author of two (2) books, Erase Yo Record, teaching people how to expunge their records, and her recently released book, "The Complete Guide to Becoming a Texas Remote Online Notary". During the COVID-19 Pandemic she founded "The Platinum Project". The program is designed to assist young ladies in Houston to become commissioned state of Texas Notaries and New Business Owners. In 2000 Shawn founded the United States 1st Military Greek Letter Organization, Sigma Phi Psi Sorority, Inc., for the United Sates Armed Forces. |

New York-native, Barbara Bronstein, has resided in Houston for more than 30 years. After graduating from Tufts University, she earned an MBA in Marketing from New York University. After a successful career marketing some of America's leading brands for Unilever, Mars and Coca-Cola, Barbara founded Second Servings to address the staggering rates of food insecurity and food waste in Houston. Under her pro bono leadership, Second Servings has become one of the city’s fastest-growing nonprofits, helping nourish over 175,000 needy Houstonians with high-quality food all year long. Barbara has been honored with the Houston Business Journal’s “Women Who Mean Business” Award in 2021, Mayor’s Proud Partner Award in 2019, the Houston Humanitarian Award in 2019, the Compassionate Action Leader Award in 2019 and was named a “Houston Hero” by the Houston Chronicle in 2018.
