ROTARY FOUNDATION, YOUR LEGACY TODAY Retiring U.S. Presidents and other leaders often concern themselves as to what their legacy is to their country or to the world. As individuals we each have a concern as to how we will be remembered and what our legacy to the world will be. As a Rotarian, you need not worry. The Rotary Foundation is a means by which each Rotarian can see his or her own legacy today. You are personally responsible for the fight to eradicate polio in the world. You are personally responsible when Brad Habermehl fits a person in Mexico with a pair of glasses in order that he or she might see. You are personally responsible for the clean drinking water in a Third World country, the safety of a disaster victim in a shelter box and for contributing to world understanding through Ambassadorial Scholarships and our GSE team. As a Rotarian this is your legacy and you should stand proud of yourself for what you are doing. Through the sweat of your brow and the generous financial gifts, you are helping people around the world, every day. Rotary Foundation is a multifaceted organization with many established goals and an appetite for new ideas for service. The work of Rotarians requires both labor and money. Your gift of either or both are truly appreciated.

Rotary Foundation is a multifaceted organization with many established goals and an appetite for new ideas for service. The work of Rotarians requires both labor and money. Your gift of either or both are truly appreciated. There are several methods of giving that allow Rotarians to choose the method best suited to them. Flushing Rotarians have been extremely generous, even in these toughest of times. Your gifts in answer to Ginny's Challenge go directly to the Polio Plus Program through Rotary Foundation. When you become a Sustaining Member you pledge $100.00 to Rotary Foundation each year. When you put a "happy buck" in the hat, you have contributed to Rotary Foundation. Another opportunity to further the work of Rotary is to make Rotary Foundation a part of your estate plan. A testamentary gift of $1,000.00 qualifies a Rotarian as a Benefactor. A testamentary gift of $10,000.00 or more qualifies a donor for the Bequest Society. While Rotary Foundation does acknowledge and honor the generosity of Rotarians with Paul Harris recognition, etc., the true reward is the personal satisfaction that comes with helping others and serving your world community. Rotary Foundation does allow each Rotarian to establish a legacy to the world today. Charles R. McKone, Foundation Chair
