Brenda Thayer's husband Tom led the Pledge of Allegiance

Ann Guest performed the invocation and handed out 25th Anniversary pins to members who were unable to attend the Anniversary Dinner.  See Ann if you'd like a pin, program or Rusty's 20th Anniversary poem, or know a Sunrise Alum who does.

This year Curt will be doing "member trivia" rather than Rotary trivia.  This week's trivia question:  What Sunrise Rotarian had a short career as a professional bull rider?"  And the answer is....Curt!

Susan did the Rotary Minute about her trip to Thailand.  They've kicked her out of Canada before, but apparently Thailand let her leave on her schedule.

Jon Lange from the Missoula YMCA introduced Christian from the Sierra Leone YMCA District who spoke about the YMCA and youth in his country.

Our speaker was Jay Toups with Bioroot Energy, LLC.  Jay spoke about their efforts to turn nearly every kind of waste product you can think of into alcohol blends for energy production.

And of course, we ended the meeting with a recitation of the 4 Way Test of the things we think, say and do.
