Trivia this morning:  What European County was the first to host an International Rotary Convention?

Happy Bucks went out to Chris Warden for helping Heidi with the club runner last week.  According to Chris the website has a SHP virus which stands for Susan Hay Patrick.. apparently I was not the only one struggling with issues.  Lisa Holcomb is easy to please… she was thrilled to find Salsa on our breakfast table this morning.  Jennifer is delighted about her stand up desk she has at work.  (I need one of those hooked to a treadmill) Jennifer is also happy that her daughter qualified to compete in the Washington Open Swim meet.  Greg is glad to be back in town and shared his condolences for Marshall as he was gone last week.

Greg also wanted to remind us all again about “A Feast for the Senses” which will be on January 24, 2013 at the Montana Theatre starting with cocktails at 5:30, followed by the performance, dinner and then dancing!  Mention Rotary when you order tickets and get 10.00 off… Greg also is willing to give a table discount if we could round up enough participants.

Brett reminded us to get our nominations in for Rotarian of the Month

Margaret started signup sheets for upcoming events which include a trip to the Symphony on January 31 followed by a Lady Griz Game on Saturday February 1st

Chris and Margaret are working on organizing our Ski Day, however a date has not yet been selected.  If you would like to help please contact Chris or Margaret…

Chris introduced Karen McNenny to speak to us today about the upcoming “Is it the Truth Seminar. ”  Karen did a terrific job last year, and we are excited to have her return and teach us about how our personal decisions each day have a civil impact.  Karen spoke a bit about her upcoming presentation and then donated $250.00 to the event!  THANK YOU Karen!

Chris also took a few minutes to remind everyone that the Is it the Truth Flyer is available in a PDF format to email to colleagues and friends who might be interested in attending.
