Dick led the Pledge
Jennifer presented the Invocation

Guests:
Brian Fury - guest of Brandon

In lieu of Member Trivia, Brandon played "Name that Movie Theme".  Nobody knew it, other than "Lunatic Fridge" was the title of the song.  The mystery movie was Vision Quest (1985).

Happy Bucks:
Jim - Wedding in Telluride & time with San Diego granddaughter.
Rusty - for the Grizzly Hackle carrying on with teaching Missoula Youth Homes kids to fly fish
Arnie - travel - dropping off Emma and a new apartment for Katie
Cynthia - grandson's travel: visited Europe, three exchange students and back in time for a Bone and Joint procedure
Carl - Jason had unexpected intestinal surgery and it fine (I'd put the room number at which to visit him in here, but I forgot what hospital he was at and he's probably not there anymore by the time I am getting these minutes out)
Lou - Fishing with Rusty at Rusty's top secret spot up Rock Creek
Ramey - New Poverello Sign, MYH Group home complete, Minneapolis trip & brother's family visiting
Brandon - Brian (his guest), positive points for last night's golfing
Dick - Butte District Assembly
Dave - Abby's last Fair - has a 1,371 pound steer.  Beef: it's what's for dinner!

Announcements:

All three Missoula clubs will host our District Governor's visit with an evening social at the MCT on the 19th, prior to him visiting our Club meeting on the 20th.  Let Brandon know if you'd like to attend.  Or...just show up and crash the party - it's the DG, right?  Might as well spice it up a bit.

Jefferson Playground Project - Tues 8/26 - 7am-11:15am.  Need to help spruce it up a bit.  BBQ to follow at 11:30am.  See Jim Clark for details.

August 14th - Partnership For Children Pool Party at Cynthia's.  Don't miss Gord's dive into a pool floatee!

Margaret presented the Rotary Minute on Rotary's partnership with the Peace Corp on projects in the Philippines, Thailand and Togo.

Nick Holloway was our speaker about Smart911.

And finally, if you like receiving these minutes each week, you're going to be disappointed next week because there won't be any minutes...unless you take them!  I'll be out of town and need someone to do this on Wednesday.  If you will do that, just take them and email them to me and I'll take care of getting them out to the Club.
