Happy Bucks: David did a hike in the Bitterroot with Matt Brown. Jesse got back from Guatemala and got to go to a Rotary meeting while he was there. Gordon got 4 tickets to a trade show about cars in Las Vegas. Susan is happy that Hugh is back safely from Guatemala. And enjoyed the Peace Park Celebration in Glacier Park and for Jim Clark driving his 1929 Model A in the homecoming parade. Betsy happy for the assembly at Glacier Park. Oops I missed a bunch. Matt Smith got a promotion at First Interstate Bank. Gary International Miniature Golf Day. Kristi is happy to hang with us. Mark got to take 6th graders to the drama department at the university and learned about science in a different way. Larry is happy because Brandon is able to drink again. Matt Brown was happy about his hike with David but didn’t like the last 3rd.  He is also thankful for the cooler weather. Jennifer happy to see progress on the school buildings. Brandon happy for the attendance for the new member orientation.

Rotary minute was given by Larry. He spoke about the benefits of the 4-way test and about the rise of women in Rotary.
 
Alissa was presented with her Blue Badge.
 
Brandon reported on the Mag 7 golf tournament to take place on this Friday evening.
 
Pumpkin carving is coming up on October 27th.
 
Our visitor Jerry presented us with his club flag from Dayton Ohio. He has started a foundation with other Rotarians. Their mission is to give children a skill set to handle conflict in an ever polarizing world.
 
Dick introduced our speaker Linda McCarthy from the Missoula Downtown Partnership. She oversees 3 different downtown partnerships. Restructured in 2014. They now own their own building. Gift cards are available for 175 different businesses. She spoke of all of the current projects and future projects happening downtown in Missoula. She encourages people to shop downtown.
 
Linda was given the rotary 4 way test token. The 4-way test was recited by all and Margaret adjourned the meeting at 8:31 a.m.
