Happy Bucks: Lisa R enjoyed the rafting trip and thanked Sandy for organizing it; Claire’s boyfriend parents have been house hunting and got a house the first day; Lisa Holcomb saw a Grizzly and cub up Miller Creek, she is getting a new roof and she loved the rafting trip; Matt loved the floating trip and said it was the best yet the concert scene in Missoula; Brandon went to kettlehouse ampitheatre to see Nathanial Radcliff and is going to Spokane for his birthday; Sandy’s brother-in-law is in town doing the plumbing in her new house; Jenny for Pearl’s Jam, and for Hugh for bailing her out on the invocation; Arnie’s team won the city championship in softball; and today is Arnie’s 26th wedding anniversary and his daughter Emma started her new job; Betsy made if to District Rotary; Dick King for the District Assembly and for Mr. Gerard for his discussion on the Guatemala water project; Symphony in the park was great and his mother got home safely; Curt is going to go float the Grand Canyon on Saturday and his daughter has moved back from Billings; Dave Bardwick has been in Alaska on a trip and floated thru an eagle preserve: Jennifer was at her dad’s memorial last weekend and will be gone for two weeks in Scotland; Larry for Pearl Jam; Gordy is going to Alice Cooper this Saturday;

Announcements : Betsy discussed what went on at district assembly. She reported that Brian did a fantastic job on the grant process presentation that he did. August is rotary membership month. Brandon discussed the 14th of September golf tournament; Curt talked about a program for the noon club about the new submarine USS Montana and see Curt for more information about attending the dinner on 22nd of September in honor of this. Everybody check your profile page on club runner and make sure your information is consistent;
Matt introduced our speaker Tia Stagg from Vivid Marketing, a firm that assists small businesses in promotion on social media and marketing;
Jennifer presented Tia with the Rotary Coin featuring the 4-way test and a mention in the dictionary project for 3rd graders.
